  How do you feel about privacy?

  ever wonder why you are asked for information when you make a purchase?

  i've been asked for all kinds of things, like my name, phone number, postal code, etc.

  once i made a cash purchase at radio shack.

  i eat out a fair bit.

  i used to eat out alot more - two or three times a day, but i've cut back to about three times a week.

  restaurant food is starting to get to me.

  Yes, since about June of this year. At first I gobbled every bit of info that I could find on the WTS. It was consuming me. I had a hard time functioning in normal day activities.

  Then my JW wife noticed how I was 'not myself'. She asked, I told her, she freaked out, and my panic got worse.

  Things are better now. I try to intermix my research on the WTS in when i have a chance. Besides, I know enough by now to be comfortable enough to not try to rush ahead to the next step.

  I just finished reading Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. A must read book for any JW on the way out.

  I kept telling myself to remember to take long, deep breaths. I felt like I was going to pass out from forgetting to breath while I was learning the thuth about the Troof ?

  Spirtual Paradise?

  the witnesses say they are living today in a 'spiritual paradise".

  is'nt paradise supposed to be something really good, ecstatic, perfect?

  which makes me think......if this is what they consider to be a "paradise" of any kind, what will the earthly paradise be like acording to the jw's?, and who would want to live in a "paradise" where only jw's are the ones there?

  I figured that if the WTS was really right, and the 'Big A' is coming soon, with a JW styled paradise to quickly follow, I don't want to be there.

  A day in the house of the Devil is better than a thousand in a JW paradise.

  THE CELL PHONES of ELDER'S

  when they call their number is blocked out.this makes them unavailable when you want to call them.don't even try to call them after 9pm at bethel,no matter what the emergency!they only call you to get you to come to the meetings and go out into field service!.

  so now we turned on ( acr ) anonymous call rejection,which allows us to reject calls from callers who have blocked the display of their telephone numbers.now my number will not ring and the caller will hear a message that instructs them to hang up and remove their blocking and call again.. since we did this,elders are not calling us anymore.as i said they want to know your number,so they can call you to come to meetings,otherwise they can't be bothered.they give their cell number to a select few only.the congregation as a whole don't have the elders cell phone numbers.don't try to get them at bethel either,once they know who is calling they hit the ignore button in their head.. really, i can't be bothered by the elders calling me about the same old same old line.but for those who really need some kind of help or information about whatever,this shows that they are not truly shepherds of sheep.. blueblades

  Me, ya I'm undercover. And I screen all of my calls. Have all of the congregations phone numbers, and they usually get my voice mail.

  Some think it's paranoia, but others have been nabbed by talking too much. I don't need that right now.
